Laser scanning allows to determine volumes of various objects with the highest possible precision. For irregular shapes (mining stockpiles, embankments), we have created very accurate meshes and based on them we calculate final volumes. For more regular reservoirs (tanks, gasholders, dumpers), we have created CAD models. Every calculation is taken twice, so we can be definitely sure of our results. For bigger projects we use the UAV's photogrammetry.
